- The lessons feature and the courses feature of Open Classroom platform are released under GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (AGPLv3). Open Classroom logo is a registered trademark and may not be used outside our programs and publications.
- Virtual Lab
- Virtual Lab is the underlying component within Open Classroom for the interactive practice functionality, including infrastructure, databases, programming, and application programming interfaces (APIs) operating at the platform level. The Open Classroom team reserves all rights to the Virtual Lab software. Virtual Lab experiments including animations, graphic designs, videos may be from other authors, and their copyrights are in the Content section below.

- All lessons, courses and experiments provided on Open Classroom are released under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license, unless otherwise noted in the content of the lessons, courses or experiments. You may copy, use or modify based on the content provided with condition of Open Classroom attribution and redistribute your work under the same license. You may not use lessons, courses, and experiments on Open Classroom for commercial purposes, such as printing books for sale or uploading to your website for business without the consent of Open Classroom team. We may take action from removal request to lawsuit if we detect that you use the content on Open Classroom for commercial purposes.
When creating a lesson, a course or an experiment on Open Classroom, you agree that the work you create will be under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license and you are credited with author right. You also undertake not to use any image or content that is not known to origin or not an open resource. If you find any image or content on Open Classroom that infringes on the copyright you own, please let us know immediately, and we will remove the image or content.
